激活素(Activin)属于转化生长因子-β(TGF-β)超家族,是由两个β亚基通过二硫键连接而成的二聚体糖蛋白。在哺乳动物中,共有四种β亚基基因,分别是 INHBA(编码β A)、INHBB(编码βB)、INHBC(编码βC)和 INHBE(编码βE)。这些亚基通过同源或异源二聚化,形成多种激活素成员:主要包括激活素 A(βA-βA)、激活素 B(βB-β B)、激活素 AB(βA-βB),以及功能研究相对较晚的激活素 C(βC-βC)和激活素 E(β E-βE)。 |
